Welcome to the Olive Inn! You will be staying in a bright, private suite in a charming Victorian home built in the 1890s. At the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac overlooking downtown Auburn, find yourself playing badminton, enjoying a hilltop sunset, or unwinding in a hot tub secluded within a tropical tiki garden.

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our two small dogs, Alice and Charlie.

Resort like pool house, nicely finished. Perfect for a couple or a family with younger children. Amenities include pool, spa, sand volleyball, barbecues, fire pit, farm animals, eggs and garden vegetables when producing.

Our guesthouse is across the driveway from the main house on 1.5 acres on a quiet country road, yet only 2 miles from Old Town Auburn, 3 miles from the Auburn State Recreation Area, and 1.5 hours from Lake Tahoe. The guesthouse is approximately 375 sq ft, has its own entrance with convenient parking, a well-appointed kitchenette, a bedroom with a full size bed adjoining a private deck, and a huge bathroom with a closet. It’s perfect for a couple or single, and suitable for longer term stays.

Quite literally located across the street from downtown Auburn, this centrally located in-town bungalow is all that you need for your weekend away. When staying with us, you’ll be smack-dab in the middle of the action, but you’ll feel as though you are a world away as you settle in under massive cedar trees.
