SKATE PARK

This is part of Overlook Park and part of ARD. This is for both beginners to ad advanced skaters. Helmets, knee and elbow pads are required. The park is open from dawn to dusk. Restrooms are available.

REGIONAL PARK

This park is part of the Auburn Area Recreation & Park District (ARD). It is a sprawling park with a large pond encircled by a sidewalk. A year-round creek meanders through the north end of the park. Amenities: 18 hold Frisbee golf course, picnic tables, BBQ pits, 2 playgrounds, ball fields, pickle ball courts, basketball courts and restrooms.

RECREATION PARK

Recreation Park is part of the Auburn Area Recreation & Park District (ARD). It is a beautiful park with oak trees and lots of history. Amenities: Marsha Skinner Memorial Sierra Pool, Stella Irving Dance Studio, 3 baseball diamonds, 2 playgrounds and picnic units. There are also BBQ pits, Bocce Ball Courts and restrooms. RAILHEAD PARK

This park is part of the Auburn Area Recreation & Park District (ARD). It is multi-purpose park with playground, two large soccer fields, small pond and picnic area. Restrooms are also available.

OVERLOOK PARK

This park is part of the Auburn Are Recreation & Park District (ARD). It offers a beautiful view of the American River canyon. You have access to walking trails that will access the canyon. There is ample parking. Also included is Skate Park. Restrooms are available.

JAMES FIELD

Recreation Park is beautiful, oak filled park with lots of history. Amenities include Marsha Skinner Memorial Sierra Pool, Stella Irving Dance Studio, three baseball diamonds, two playgrounds and newly constructed picnic units. A visit to this grand old park is always memorable.

HIDDEN FALLS REGIONAL PARK

Hidden Falls Trail is a 3.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Auburn, California that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

HERSCHEL YOUNG PARK

This park is part of the Auburn Area Recreation & Park District (ARD). It is located on the corner of Lincoln Way and Sacramento Street in Old Town Auburn. There are picnic tables and park benches. Beautiful little park with trees, colorful flowers and moss covered bricks and stones. Open dawn to dusk.

CALIFORNIA WELCOME CENTER – AUBURN

Each of the California Welcome Centers scattered throughout the state are staffed with personal travel concierges. These knowledgeable experts are ready to provide information that will enhance and enrich your visit including suggestions on where to eat, what to see, and where to stay. Welcome Centers also offer free maps and brochures on local attractions and things to see and do.

BICENTENNIAL PARK

This park is a lovely “pocket” park owned by the City of Auburn and maintained by ARD. It is located adjacent to Auburn Folsom Road near the Auburn Courthouse parking and the Farmer’s Market Parking lot. The park has a paved trail that winds across a bridge, under an overpass and part way up a hill. The small grassy area and picnic tables make for a great private getaway. Open dawn to dusk.
